Gambit

Objective

Gambit is a competitive spin-off of Blackjack. Win rounds by getting a hand closest to 15 without busting. 

Card values

2-10 are face value. Jacks, Queens, Kings, and Aces are counted as 5.

How to play

The dealer deals 2 cards face down to each player. Starting from the dealer's left, each player can choose to hit or stand. The rotation continues until all players stand.

Scoring

Players show their cards. The player closest to 15 without busting is the winner. If all players bust, the player closest to 15 is the winner. The total number (not value) of cards held by all players is added up, and the winner is awarded that many points.

If there is a tie, the tied players get points for the number of cards in their own hand. No other points are awarded.

Winning

After each round, the player to the left of the dealer becomes the new dealer. Play continues until everyone has dealt twice. The person with the most points at the end of the last round is the winner!
